COST CONTROLLER – COSTABISSARA

We are looking for a meticulous person cost controller to supervise and analyze the economic aspects related to the procurement, use and management of inventory of raw material essential for our production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of commodity cost dynamics.

Responsibility:

1. Develop and implement cost control procedures and strategies specifically designed for the procurement and use of raw materials.
2. Monitor and analyze i prices raw materials, market trends and supplier performance in order to identify savings opportunities and mitigate risks.
3. Work closely with the Group Purchasing office to negotiate favorable terms and contracts with raw material suppliers.
4. Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of raw materials inventory to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
5. Work closely with manufacturing centers to optimize the use of raw materials, reduce waste and improve efficiency without compromising quality.
6. Prepare and present complete reports on changes in raw material costs, on the use of the budget and on forecasting to company management.
7. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency in raw material cost management practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in the field of cost control, preferably in large-scale retail trade, collective catering or food companies with a focus on raw materials.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of cost analysis tools, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
