Serenissima Restauration has obtained registration in the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), a voluntary tool created by the European Community to which organizations (companies, public bodies, etc.) can voluntarily join to evaluate and improve their environmental performance and provide information on its environmental management to the public and other interested parties. The primary purpose of EMAS is to contribute to the achievement of sustainable economic development, highlighting the role and responsibilities of businesses.
THE FAMILY AUDIT
Serenissima Restauration is implementing the Family Audit, the standard adopted by the Autonomous Province of Trento on family-work reconciliation, certified by the Provincial Agency for the family, birth rate and youth policies that allows for the adoption of personnel management policies aimed at the well-being of their employees and their families, as well as to business growth.
With the MUSE Café, located within the Muse Science Museum in Trento, in October 2016 Serenissima Ristorazione purchased the brand “Ecoristorazione Trentino” (Eco-Food Services in Trentino). This is an important recognition by the Autonomous Province of Trento of our environmentally sustainable offering.
CAREFUL SELECTION OF SUPPLIERS
Suppliers are selected based on their competence and competitiveness, as well for having quality certificates issued by accredited bodies.
Suppliers are assessed yearly. This assessment process includes checking the quality of the product/service, the acquiring or maintaining of certifications, and the degree to which supply meets requirements.
The Serenissima Green Cleaning division has obtained the Ecolabel Certification for cleaning services.
EU Ecolabel is the ecological quality mark of the European Union (established in 1992 by Reg. 880/92 and is now governed by Reg. (EC) no. 66/2010 which distinguishes products and services
characterized by a reduced environmental impact during the entire life cycle, while ensuring high performance standards.
