For the Serenissima Ristorazione Group attention to safety and the environment are of fundamental importance.
In 1998 Serenissima decided to adhere to UNI EN ISO 9001 standards and obtained Certification for the Company Quality Management System, which was issued by an accredited board which periodically controls the service quality in our various units. Certification has now been updated in compliance with the UNI EN ISO 9001:08 Quality Management System standard.
The Serenissima Ristorazione Group has adopted a self-control system for respect of the hygiene-health laws in compliance with the HACCP method (Health and Critical Control Points analysis), and obtained UNI 10854:99 Guidelines for the HACCP system certification to guarantee the safety levels required in handling food products are respected in all its kitchens. Serenissima also has UNI EN ISO 22000:05 Food Safety certification and UNI EN ISO 22005 for the traceability of food and diets in link with cool / hot and cook and chill mode.
Serenissima Ristorazione has also certified a production process that enables correct integration between the production units and their surrounding environment, and has obtained UNI EN ISO 14001:04 Environment Management System certification, addressed to preventing pollution, recycling materials and reducing energy consumption to a minimum.
From 2010 Serenissima is also included in a group of companies that are focused on the social responsability and obtained the certification as the SA 8000 standard.
